Angelina Jolie wird auf der Gala "Cinema for Peace" für ihren Debutfilm geehrt. Mit dabei Brad Pitt, Christopher Lee, Luc Besson, Nastassja Kinski, Bianca Jagger, Catherine Deneuve, Michelle Yeoh & Sir Bob Geldof.
13.02.12 I Kreischalarm vor der Gala Cinema for Peace im Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt. Angelina Jolie freut sich nicht nur darüber, während der Berlinale ihr Regiedebut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" vorstellen zu dürfen (AEDT berichtete von der Premiere). Der Superstar wurde im Zuge des Filmfestivals auch gleich mit Preisen überhäuft. Zwar noch nicht mit den begehrten Berlinale-Bären, dafür darf sich ihr Kriegsdrama nun "Most Valuable Movie of The Year" nennen. Einen "Honorary Award" gab es auch noch oben drauf. Das "Friedensgremium" der Veranstaltung begründete die Entscheidung damit, dass "Filme und Dokumentationen einen bedeutenden Einfluss auf die Einhaltung der Menschenrechte haben und unterstützend im Kampf gegen Krieg und Völkermord sind". Da war auch Lebensgefährte Brad Pitt, der tags zuvor noch in London bei den Britischen Filmpreisen weilte, stolz auf seine Frau und begleitete die Debutregisseurin über den Roten Teppich.
Beim Dinner trafen Brangelina auf Hollywood-Kollegen wie Christopher Lee + Frau Birgit, Catherine Deneuve, Luc Besson & seine "Lady"-Hauptdarstellerin Michelle Yeoh, Michael Mittermeier, Bianca Jagger, Mohamed ElBaradei, Sir Bob Geldof, Sängerin Katie Melua, die live sang, Wolfram Kons + mit seiner schwangeren Freundin Alexa Apermann, Raul + Ricardo Richter, Grit Weiss + Jo Groebel, Shermine Shahrivar, Bruno Eyron, Jana Pallaske, Nastassja Kinski, Regina Halmich, Marco Kreuzpaintner + Ehemann Gilardi, Shan Rahimkhan + Frau Claudia, Patrice Bouedibela, Leslie Mandoki, Waridi Schrobsdorff + Fotografin Gabo, Anna Loos, Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul, Jenny + Götz Elvers-Elbertzhagen, Rolf Eden, Bonnie Strange + Wilson Gonzales Ochsenknecht, Zana Marjanovic, Annemarie Eilfeld, Henry de Winter, Sharon Brauner, Sandra Steffl, Anastasia Abasova (schwanger) + Alexander Posth, Stefan Athmann + Frau Carola, Hubertus Regout, Natascha Grün + Quirin Berg, Silvio Hoffmann, Ilja Richter & Julian Stoeckel mit Lulu Krupp.
