"Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker" & "We are the World"-Gala mit Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, Djamila Rowe, La Mica & Katy Karrenbauer
18.02.23 I Sieg & Niederlage: Boris Becker, der im Jahr 1985 mit sweet 17 seinen ersten triumphalen Welterfolg als Profi-Tennisspieler feierte und dann als jüngster Spieler aller Zeiten zum Champion gekürt wurde, ist von der Gegenwart her betrachtet eher eine recht triste Society-Figur. Geplagt von Negativ-Schlagzeilen à la Steuerhinterziehung, Insolvenz & Gefängnisaufenthalt in Großbritannien. Im Dezember 2022 wurde er vorzeitig aus der Haft entlassen und nach Deutschland abgeschoben -- jetzt flanierte der 55-Jährige am Sonntagabend bei einem extra anberaumten Fototermin über den Roten Teppich der Berliner Filmfestspiele. Im Arm seine große Liebe Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro in einer Traumrobe, denn Im Rahmen der Berlinale-Specials läuft nun der erste Teil der AppleTV+-Produktion "Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker". Zur Premiere & zum anschließenden Empfang im Soho House schaute auch sein Sohn Noah Becker vorbei. Eine Doku, die einen Einblick in die Psyche des früheren Tennisstars erlaubt und beim Publikum gut ankam.
